8gentHub Terms of Service

1. Platform Role

8gentHub provides hosting, marketplace, installation, export, collaboration, payment, and integration tooling for AI agents and related content created by users and third parties.

8gentHub does not independently guarantee, endorse, or continuously review all uploaded or published agents, skills, prompts, benchmark content, comments, repository links, or other user-submitted materials. Creators and contributors remain responsible for the content they publish and the actions they ask others to perform with it.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must create an account to publish agents, buy tokens, manage integrations, generate API keys, or use other authenticated features.

You agree to:

• provide accurate account information
• maintain the security of your credentials, devices, and sessions
• notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
• comply with applicable laws when using the platform

The platform is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age required to form a binding agreement where you live, you may use the service only with legally valid permission from a parent or guardian.

3. User Content and Ownership

Creators retain ownership of the agent content, skills, prompts, instructions, metadata, uploads, comments, benchmark materials, and other content they submit to 8gentHub, subject to any third-party rights that apply to that content.

By uploading, generating, publishing, syncing, exporting through, or otherwise submitting content to 8gentHub, you grant 8gentHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, technically adapt, index, display, distribute, transmit, export, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service.

This license includes actions reasonably necessary to:

• display listings and public profile information
• generate installation packages and exports
• perform validation, scanning, indexing, moderation, and abuse-prevention checks
• sync content to or from linked repositories and integrations at your direction
• retain backup, audit, security, and operational copies as required for the service

4. Licenses for Published Agent Content

Published agents may include a declared content license, such as MIT, Apache-2.0, GPL-3.0-only, BSD-3-Clause, MPL-2.0, or Proprietary, together with optional license text URLs.

You are responsible for selecting a license that accurately reflects your rights and intended distribution terms.

If an agent is published without a declared license, the current product behavior may treat that content as MIT by default and display it that way in the marketplace and install/export flows. You are responsible for reviewing your listing and correcting any licensing metadata before distribution if that default does not reflect your intent.

5. Creator Responsibilities

Creators and contributors represent and warrant that:

• they own or have the necessary rights to publish, license, sync, export, and distribute the content they submit
• their content does not infringe third-party intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights
• their agents, uploads, and related content do not promote illegal conduct or harmful misuse
• they will comply with applicable open-source and third-party license obligations

Creators are responsible for maintaining, updating, and correcting their published content.

6. Tokens, Payments, and Virtual Credits

8gentHub may offer token packs, virtual credits, checkout flows, wallet balances, creator rewards, platform fees, and related purchase or reward functionality.

Tokens and wallet balances:

• are digital service credits for use within 8gentHub
• do not represent a bank account, stored cash value, or deposit account
• have no monetary value outside 8gentHub
• cannot be redeemed by users for cash unless 8gentHub explicitly states otherwise in a separate written policy
• may be adjusted, reversed, withheld, or revoked in cases of abuse, fraud, chargebacks, technical error, policy violation, or legal necessity

The platform may charge tokens for publishing, installs, premium actions, promotions, or other features. The platform may also apply platform fees to creator reward flows or related in-platform transactions.

Except where required by law or explicitly stated by 8gentHub, purchases of token packs or virtual credits are final and non-refundable. Account suspension, deletion, abuse findings, payment reversals, or fraud investigations may affect wallet balances, rewards, or access to purchased features.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use the platform to:

• distribute illegal, infringing, malicious, or deceptive tools or content
• automate harassment, abuse, stalking, spam, fraud, or impersonation
• bypass platform safeguards, rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions
• scrape the platform excessively or interfere with normal platform operation
• upload content that violates third-party rights or applicable law
• misuse integrations such as GitHub, payment processors, or API endpoints

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, account disabling, API key revocation, token reversal, or other enforcement action.

8. Moderation and Content Removal

8gentHub reserves the right to moderate, restrict, remove, disable access to, or refuse to distribute content that we believe violates these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights, or platform safety requirements.

8gentHub may also disable or remove accounts, integrations, API keys, listings, comments, uploads, or exports when necessary for security, abuse prevention, payment risk, legal compliance, or operational integrity.

9. Integrations and Third-Party Services

The platform may integrate with third-party services such as GitHub, Stripe, cloud hosting providers, email vendors, and security tooling.

Your use of those third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and policies. 8gentHub is not responsible for third-party services, outages, policy changes, or actions taken by those providers.

When you export agent packages for use on third-party platforms (including platform-specific or guided/community formats), you are solely responsible for self-managed use, configuration, legal compliance, and policy compliance on those third-party services. 8gentHub does not guarantee acceptance, compatibility, availability, or continued interoperability of exported packages with any third-party platform, and references to third-party platform names do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.

10. AI and Platform Disclaimers

AI agents, generated content, recommendations, benchmarks, comments, and other marketplace materials may be incorrect, incomplete, insecure, biased, or unsuitable for your use case.

You should not rely on agents or marketplace content for medical, legal, financial, employment, safety-critical, or other high-stakes decisions without independent review.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 8gentHub is not liable for losses, damages, or claims arising from:

• third-party agents, skills, or user content
• licensing disputes or rights claims involving uploaded content
• user misuse of exports, installs, API keys, or integrations
• payment disputes, chargebacks, or service interruptions
• errors, omissions, or harmful outputs from AI-generated or user-generated content

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
